Focuslight Introduces Engineered V-Groove Arrays for Multi-Channel Optical Communications with New Level of Flexibility and Precision

Xi’an, China – March 17, 2025 – Focuslight Technologies announces the launch of their new Engineered V-Groove for Multi-Channel Fiber Arrays. The products are designed for a variety of applications such as optical modules, fiber connectors, PLC splitters in FTTX networks, and AWGs in WDM systems, etc., offering a new level of flexibility and precision to meet the stringent demands of high-speed optical communication.

Manufactured with exceptional precision on the wafer level, these V-Grooves achieve accumulative pitch tolerance within ±1μm for 96 channels, ensuring superior alignment and performance in multi-channel applications scenarios.

The variable V-Groove design also offers a new level of adaptability, enabling:

Focuslight’s V-Groove arrays can be made with a wide range of materials, including Borofloat 33, Fused Silica, S-TIH53, S-BSL7 (and equivalent such as N-BK7), Silicon, as well as Ceramics and other non-toxic optical glasses upon request. Other key specifications include:
