Focuslight was Approved to Set Up a Postdoctoral Research Station

Recently, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China issued the Document [2013] No. 61, by which Focuslight was approved to set up a post-doctoral scientific research station, becoming the first enterprise in the field of high power semiconductor laser in China to have a national post-doctoral research station.?

Since its establishment, Focuslight has always adhered to independent innovation and continuously increased the input in the introduction of talents. It has formed a professional R&D team with doctors and masters as its core, whose R&D personnel account for more than 35% of the total employees. Focuslight has one employee included in the national "Thousand Talents Program", one employee included in the "Hundred Talents Program" in Shaanxi Province, two employees included in the"5211" high-level talents in Xi'an, 11 employees with overseas education background, and many employees with working experience in the World's Top 500 Enterprises. The R&D team of Focuslight has successively won the honorary titles such as "Key Overseas Chinese Entrepreneurship Team" and "Shaanxi Key Technology Innovation Team" by the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council. Focuslight has applied for a total of 176 patents, among which 77 have been authorized (including 12 patents of invention and 1 foreign patent).

In recent years, Focuslight has relied on "National and local joint engineering research center for high-power semiconductor lasers and application", "High power semiconductor laser packaging and characterization laboratory", "Industry-university-research demonstration base for super power semiconductor laser packaging technology" and other scientific research platforms to establish close cooperative relations and some domestic well-known institutions of higher learning and scientific research institutions; and has achieved remarkable results. The establishment of the post-doctoral research station by Focuslight with approval is another breakthrough in Focuslight's scientific and technological innovation and high-level innovative talent training. Through the post-doctoral research work, Focuslight will further introduce and train high-level talents to provide strong support for its technical research and enhance its independent research and development capabilities and core competitiveness.
